Frequently Asked Questions

I am interested in registering for your program. What is the process?

Call us! We would love to learn more about your child and see if our program is the right fit.

How often can I schedule sessions?

Sessions may be scheduled as often as you’d like. We suggest a minimum of once per week to maintain the momentum of your child’s progress and success. Scheduling sessions once a week will also build a strong rapport between your child and their coach, and enhance their skill building and overall progress.

Can I meet the Coach before the first session?

Parents will receive a phone call from the Coach prior to the first scheduled session. We allot an extra fifteen minutes during the first scheduled session so the child and parent can become acquainted with the Coach. Parents will be asked to leave the room after the initial meeting so the session can begin.

Do I need to be present during the sessions?

An adult must be in the home at all times during the session. If the adult leaves during the session, the session will end. This is for the safety of both the child and the Coach. We, however, strongly discourage parents from being present in the room. Children perform their best and are most comfortable trying new things when a parent is not present.

What type of space do I need to provide?

We recommend the largest space you have available in your home that is conducive to physical activity and light ball throwing. Sessions can also take place in a local park, recreation area, or your building’s playroom.

Elite Method and its staff are not liable for any damage caused during Program activities.

Do I need to provide any equipment?

Elite Method will provide all necessary equipment. Our coaches come prepared with everything needed for the day’s lessons.

Will I receive communications from Elite Method about my child’s progress?

Yes, throughout the program our coaches complete internal evaluation forms to track progress, behavior and overall growth. Your Elite Method coach will always update you about each session via text and/or email communication. You may always reach out to your coach to discuss any progress and growth questions you have.

Can my child contact his/her Coach directly?

We do not permit direct communication between coaches and children outside of the session by phone, email, or text unless provided written permission by a parent. All communication should be conducted through the parents.

How much involvement do you require of parents?

It is imperative that parents work in conjunction with our staff to ensure consistency and success of the program. We ask that you actively participate in the process by encouraging your child before and after each session.

What is your payment policy?

Payment is due before the start of the program.

What is your session cancellation policy?

Any sessions cancelled within four hours of the session start time will be counted as a completed session.

Will my child or I ever meet any of the therapists on the Advisory Board?

No, the role of our Advisory Board therapists is to collaborate with the coaches to address specific questions about a clients case. However, if you are interested in speaking with one of our expert therapists we can make a professional referral to their private practice.

Will the sessions I purchased expire?

Yes, sessions expire 18 month after purchase.

Where is your program available?

We currently serve New York City, Northern New Jersey, Westchester, Brooklyn. We are always adding new locations.
